In the months from January to July 2012, UTair increased the transportation of passengers by 35.6 percent compared to the same period of the previous year to 4.684 million people, according to the airline. Passenger transportation in the seven months increased by 40.2 percent to 8.756 billion passenger-kilometers. The transportation of goods by air increased by 54.1 percent and totaled 14.597 thousand tons. The transportation of passengers by helicopter went down by 15.5 percent to 444.7 thousand persons over the seven months, while helicopter cargo transportation increased by 5.4 percent to 81.704 thousand tons.
