Aircraft factory Aviastar-SP in Ulyanovsk is assembling the first three modernized military transport aircraft Il-76MD-90A. In 2013, another order of military transport aircraft will be commissioned, according to the general director and designer of the Ilypin aviation complex Viktor Livanov.

In 2013, the aircraft plant intends to take out a loan for meeting the construction target for the next batch of Il-76MD-90A’s for the Defense Ministry. According to Mr. Livanov, a total of 10 airplanes will be on order.
