VSMPO Avisma builds new plants

VSMPO-Avisma is preparing for the construction of three new plants. Two projects are in the works. As the general director Mikhail Voevodin said, one of the companies that is located within the special economic zone known as Titanium Valley will be engaged in machining titanium. Planned investments in the implementation of the project are estimated at USD100-120 million. According to Mikhail Voevodin, construction could begin as early as next year.

Negotiations on the creation of two other joint ventures are underway with current partners. These partners include Boeing that has already established the Urals Boeing Manufacturing plant in 2007 together with VSMPO.
