Gazprom proposes RUB8.04 per share dividends for 2017

On April 12, 2018, Gazprom’s management committee endorsed the proposal to convene the company’s annual general shareholders meeting in St. Petersburg. In addition, the management committee approved the proposals on the format and the content of voting ballots and the wording of decisions on the meeting’s agenda.

The management committee submitted to the Gazprom’s board of directors the company’s annual accounting statements for 2017 compiled in accordance with the Russian law, as well as the drafts of the shareholders’ meeting agenda and the distribution sheet allocating Gazprom’s profit based on the 2017 operating results.

The management committee formulated the proposals for the board of directors regarding the dividend payout based on the company’s operating results in 2017. In particular, the proposed amount of dividends is RUB8.04 per share, which is consistent with last year’s level. Thus, Gazprom continues to pursue a policy aimed at maintaining the dividend amount equal to or higher than the level already achieved by the company, taking into account the need to ensure that the company remains financially stable and that its strategic priority projects are implemented.

Gazprom has several hundred thousand shareholders in Russia and abroad. Therefore, shareholders are advised to exercise the right to take part in the annual meeting via their trustees by proxy or via a filled-out voting ballot sent to Gazprom, or to give instructions regarding the vote to a nominal shareholder responsible for share registration.
