The
Rosotov Finift factory
continues XVIII century traditions. The factory’s employees, talented artists,
craftsmen, and jewelers, have complete mastery of all finift
trade secrets, which are customarily passed on from father to son, from
generation to generation.
The
factory is one of the oldest businesses in the town of Rostov
the Great, a city which is a part of Russia’s
Golden Ring. Founded during the last century’s second decade, Rostov Finift specializes in
producing high-quality hand-made items with paintings on enamel and exquisite
filigree, made from true silver and silver-coated copper.
In
recent years of development, the factory reached international level. Right
now, it has partners in US, Japan,
Great Britain,
France, etc.
While
fully preserving the ways of traditional craftsmen, the company explores new
trade directions. Rostov Finift
produces a wide variety – around 500 kinds – of jewelry items with enamel
paintings, such as rings, earrings, pendants, necklaces, bracelets, mirrors,
and miniature boxes.
Items
for use in religious ceremonies - icons, triptychs, and crosses, manufactured
in accordance with Orthodox cannons - also make up a sizeable part of Rostov Finift’s products.
In
addition, the factory produces small-quantity, unique hand-made masterpieces. Rostov Finift also takes
individual orders.
The
Rostov Finift Factory would
like to boost its sales in the United
States. The
factory would be interested in finding distributors and merchandise outlets in North America.
