The number of production facilities with installed non-alcoholic beer production equipment at Baltika Breweries is on the rise. The Baltika-Samara facility recently became the fourth venue within the company where the new equipment was brought online. The brewery turned out its first batch of the “Baltika 0” non-alcoholic beer on March 14, 2017. The company’s investment in the project stood at RUB57 million (USD1 million).
A component of Carlsberg, Baltika Breweries is one of the largest exporters of Russia-made beverages. Baltika has eight production facilities in Russia with a wide variety of brands on the market. The products made at Baltika’s facilities are imported to 75 countries. In the last two years, the brewery began shipping beverages to Argentina, Burkina Faso, New Zealand, Pakistan, and Romania. Carlsberg’s Eastern Europe regional business includes Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan.
