Alfa Laval has won an order to supply heat exchangers to a refinery in Russia. The order has a value of approximately USD7.33 million, and the delivery is scheduled for 2016 and 2017.
Alfa Laval will deliver compact heat exchangers for the preheating of crude oil in different steps of the refinery process. Alfa Laval’s innovative design, where the complete crude oil process will be heated with welded heat exchangers instead of traditional shell-and-tube heat exchangers, will result in increased space efficiency compared to traditional solutions.
“I am very pleased to announce that our heat exchangers play an important role in this refinery order to make the installation both compact and more energy efficient,” said Lars Renstrom, president and CEO of the Alfa Laval Group.
