Integra-Services LLC has entered into a contract with Gazprom Neft Shelf to provide services for well construction at the Pechora Sea shelf zone.
Within the framework of the contract, Integra-Services LLC will perform work on casing and liner cementing and will install cement plugs on five production wells. The work will be conducted on the fixed offshore ice-resistant platform Prirazlomnaya.
Integra-Services specialists have already started implementing the project and went to Murmansk to establish a regional base, deliver the necessary materials, and set up cooperation with Gazprom.
When commenting on the signing of the agreement, M. Yakubov, Integra-Services managing director has said, “We are proud that the customer has appreciated and accepted our offer as the most complete in terms of a technical study. All technologies and materials to be used by our experts have been repeatedly used in other projects implemented in the Arctic. They are well proven and, when combined with the expertise of our qualified teams, will contribute to a timely implementation of the work to be undertaken.”
The Prirazlomnoye oil field is located in the Pechora Sea, some 60 kilometers from the coast. Its recoverable oil reserves exceed 70 million tons of oil. This is the first project in the Russian Arctic that is already under production. Russia’s new oil grade is called ARCO (Arctic oil). The first tanker loaded with ARCO set sail in April 2014.
