On April 11, 2017, United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) president Yury Slyusar said that the company has earmarked RUB100 billion (USD1.778 billion) for modernizing aircraft manufacturing facilities in Russia up to the year 2020. The holding has already invested a total of RUB25 billion (USD445 million) in technical upgrades and modernization in recent years.
